PERFORMANCE TEST ENGINEER (ONSITE) JOB IN CALIFORNIA

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Performance Test Engineer for our El Segundo office in Los Angeles, California, to champion testing and help validate the quality, performance, and scalability of the world's top marketing analytics platform.
Key Responsibilities
By working within a critical development team of talented engineers you will:
• Coordinate with the stake holders and obtain clarifications on performance requirements
• Build and enhance an internal Asp.Net/C# web application created solely to support the technology teams
• Assist project members with infrastructure and application performance monitoring and analysis
• Build automated tests to validate application performance and functionality.
• Evaluate overall system capacity during end-to-end load tests
• Provide detailed performance testing reports based on the test results.
• Work tightly with application development, architecture, infrastructure and engineering groups in defining performance testing requirements, approaches, success criteria, and validating application performance optimizations.
Requirements
• Experience with C# application development.
• Experience writing SQL queries
• An understanding of performance testing concepts, approaches, best practices, and methodologies with at least 3 years of hands-on performance testing experience
• Experience with Apache JMeter
• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate
• Must have knowledge of the entire software development life cycle.
• Must have strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Must understand Computer Science fundamentals in object oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and problem solving.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
Desired Skills
• Experience developing high quality test plans and test cases.
• Experience with code coverage and profiling tools
• Experience with automated functional regression testing.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting.
• Experience using JIRA, Jenkins, and Confluence
